You’ve likely heard that “change is the only constant in life,” and nonprofit organizations have to navigate change all the time. Your organization may face big changes like identifying and preparing for your nonprofit’s next generation of leaders, hiring a new Executive Director, or expanding the board.
Change is rarely easy, but it doesn’t have to be so hard. Join us as we explore succession planning practices and enhance your nonprofit’s readiness for change. Together we will build our collective abilities to navigate times of transition with grace, clarity, and purpose.
During this workshop you will:
- Determine where your nonprofit is on the organizational lifecycle and how to prepare for the next stage
- Learn tips to support smooth Executive Director transitions
- Explore methods to enhance board development and engagement during transitions
- Build connections with other nonprofit leaders who are navigating change
Cost
The cost for this workshop is $10.
NAWA is pleased to partner with the Whidbey Community Foundation to host this workshop space for nonprofits on and/or serving Whidbey Island. In order to allow as many organizations as possible to participate, we ask that you limit registration for your organization to two people.
