Scholarships

Scholarship applications are now closed for 2023. Those who applied can expect to hear from us by the end of March.

Nonprofit Association of Washington is proud to host the Washington State Nonprofit Conference, May 17-19, 2023, with a theme of Moving Boldy. This year’s approach allows everyone to celebrate and learn together in the way that works best for you. May 17-18 will provide online experiences and May 19 will have more learning, connection, and collaboration in person in Tacoma.

We are committed to creating a Conference that represents our state’s vibrant diversity. We know cost is often a barrier, particularly in this time of reduced budget and increased demand on nonprofits. Thanks to our sponsors and funders, we are able to offer a limited number of scholarships for the virtual portion and the in-person day in Tacoma.

Priority funding is given to:

  • Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), Latine/Hispanic people
  • Emerging leaders
  • Small organizations
  • Rural organizations

Scholarship applications closed March 1, 2023. Applicants will be notified by the end of March.

If awarded, recipients pay:

  • $25 for a Virtual Event Pass rather than the full price of $200 (2 days online)
  • $60 for the In-person Event Pass rather than the full price of $150 (1 day in person)
  • $85 for the All Access Event Pass rather than the full price of $300 (3 full days)

If you received a scholarship to the Washington State Nonprofit Conference in 2022, you are not eligible to receive one this year, but your organization is still eligible. We hope you pass this invitation on to your colleagues and network. Awards are limited to one person per organization in order to spread support more broadly.
