Experiencing burnout and secondary stress are experiences many of us will have over the course of our careers. Often, we don’t realize we are burned out or struggling with secondary stress symptoms until we feel the negative effects. Learning to identify the signs and symptoms of burnout and secondary stress, along with personal and professional risk factors, can help us be proactive in finding ways to navigate these challenges.
