The Washington Nonprofit Handbook, 2022 Edition, is published by our partner Communities Rise! During the 2021 Washington Legislative Session, SB 5034 was introduced and passed, modernizing the nonprofit statutes for the first time in 50 years.
The new Washington Nonprofit Corporation Act went into effect on January 1, 2022. Overseen by an expert advisory committee, the entire Handbook was reviewed and updated by a phenomenal team of authors and editors. The Handbook is a thorough guide on how to form and maintain a nonprofit corporation in Washington.
