Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) has been a trusted partner for nonprofit organizations across the United States for over three decades. With a focus on helping build stronger nonprofits, YPTC provides customized, outsourced accounting and financial management services that allow nonprofit professionals to focus on their missions.

In 2025, YPTC expanded its local presence to the Pacific Northwest area, opening a new office in Seattle. This office serves all of Washington state and Oregon, with a particular focus along the I-5 corridor from Eugene, Oregon, north to Bellingham, Washington.

Dan Tritch, a seasoned accounting professional with a diverse background in both finance and education, leads YPTC’s Pacific Northwest office. Dan’s journey with YPTC began in 2013 when he joined the Philadelphia office as an associate. He stepped away for a brief stint in education, where he taught math through Teach for America at Imhotep Charter High School in North Philadelphia. Dan returned to YPTCin 2019, bringing with him a unique perspective and a passion for learning. He leads with balance, autonomy, and trust, fostering a positive environment for YPTC staff and the nonprofits they serve.

YPTC’s services are designed to meet the unique needs of nonprofit organizations. From internal, grant, and board reporting to forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management, YPTC provides timely, accurate information that helps executive directors and board members make data-driven financialdecisions. Services include accounting and month-end close, financial reporting, analysis and recommendations, data visualization, scenario planning, cash flow forecasting, and more. YPTC’s approach is marked by support, flexibility, and transformation, meeting nonprofit clients wherever they are and allowing them to focus on furthering their missions.

The firm’s client satisfaction is evidenced by numerous testimonials. Valerie Gonzales, Executive Director of the San Jose State University Alumni Association, says, “They’ve just made life very easy for someone like me who was new to these types of processes and transactions. They’ve helped me learn about and stay on top of our transactions and get clear, concise financial reports to the Board of Directors in a friendly, easy way that is seamless.

A key aspect of YPTC’s success is its strong culture of caring about employees. This culture, which Dan has helped cultivate, is similar to the environment he fostered as an educator. The culture, and specifically the culture of actually caring about employees, defines a very successful organization and that’s what I want to be a part of. It’s just like teaching; caring about your students is what makes them want to work for you and what makes them work hard and succeed,” Dan says. Caring about staff and clients alike has led to mutual growth and success for YPTC and the nonprofits it serves.
