We are pleased to announce that Washington Nonprofits has launched a Community Slack for nonprofit leaders across the state! Join us, connect with other leaders, and find out how we can work together to complete our missions! Washington Nonprofits is also hiring! And learn this month about health insurance options for nonprofits and how to tackle some of the common HR challenges nonprofits face.
This month we are learning about compensation in the nonprofit sector, learning from the Ethical Rainmaker Podcast, and a new FAQ on E-Filing your IRS Form 990. We will also be launching a nonprofit Community Slack we would love for you to be a part of! And finally, communicating with pronouns is an opportunity for all of us to learn about ourselves and one another.
We have two major announcements for you! Our Annual Report for 2020 is available and SB 5034, The Washington Nonprofit Corporation Act, has passed and will become law! This law is the first major overhaul of the statutes governing nonprofits in our state in 50 years, and bring much needed modernizations to our system. We will be hosting events on the Act to on what nonprofit leaders need to know!
This month we present a special edition of the Connector focused on the Washington State Nonprofit Conference! We are so excited to tell you more about why the virtual conference will be our best offering yet. From out different tracks to all the ways you will be able to engage with other nonprofit leaders from across the state, the Connector will help you to see why we cannot wait to see you there!

But this year we invite you to engage with us! We are accepting workshops proposals for our Washington State Nonprofit Conference. We also want our Legislature to hear from you!
