Join us on April 21st at 11am to meet Statistics Without Borders (SWB) and learn more about their pro-bono services for nonprofits!

If your organization has limited capacity, tools, or they need more knowledge of data collection and analysis, SWB can help.

Statistics Without Borders is a volunteer outreach group of the American Statistical Association. SWB’s data experts can help nonprofits understand their data and show the impact of their work. They specialize in supporting underresourced organizations, even those with limited capacity or experience with data. Whether you need help designing a simple survey, making sense of the information you already collect, or using your data to tell a clear story about your impact, SWB can guide you step by step. Their services are free for nonprofits.

Cost

This event is free to attend.

Recording

Registrants will receive the webinar recording by email after the event. If there are breakout rooms, they will not be included in the recording. If you can’t attend the webinar but you are interested in learning about this topic, please register so we can send you the recording and materials.

Accessibility

Captioning: We will have automated captioning enabled.

Interpretation: Please indicate during registration if you have an interpretation request. Typically, we need at least two weeks prior notice in order to schedule an interpreter.

Visual Descriptions: Presenters will include visual descriptions of themselves and the slides to give a person who is low-vision, blind, or calling in without video a sense of space and place.

About the Speaker

Stacy DeRuiter

Stacy DeRuiter is associate professor of Mathematics & Statistics at Calvin University in Michigan, and has two decades’ experience collaborating and mentoring students to analyze data in health, public health, education, psychology, biology, and program evaluation for non-profits. She has volunteered with Statistics Without Borders’ New Client Acquisition team since 2019.
