Join us for a special event as we celebrate the NAWA Community Slack workspace relaunch! Our Slack Relaunch Party: Reconnect & Reignite is the perfect opportunity to explore the exciting new features and connect with the NAWA community. Whether you’re a longtime member or new to the space, this event is designed to bring us all together for meaningful conversations and engagement. We’ll be hosting a fun NAWA History trivia game during the event, with exciting prizes for the winners!

What to expect:

  • Walk-through of the new Slack features and channels
  • Review of the updated Slack User Guide
  • Meet and greet with NAWA staff and our newest Executive Director
  • Trivia Prizes to upcoming NAWA events

This event is your chance to get the most out of our revamped Slack space while networking with fellow nonprofit professionals across Washington State. Who Should Attend

Nonprofit professionals, NAWA members, and current/new Slack users looking to connect, engage, and explore the latest features of the NAWA Community Slack workspace.

Accessibility

Captioning: You can enable automated captions in Slack. We won’t have access to turn them on for everyone, but we will walk you through the steps to ensure they are on and visible. 

Interpretation: Please indicate during registration if you have an interpretation request. Typically, we need at least two weeks in order to schedule an interpreter.

Visual Descriptions: Presenters will include visual descriptions of themselves and the slides to give a person who is low-vision, blind, or calling in without video a sense of space and place.

This event will be partially accessible. If you have additional accessibility requests, please let us know when you register.
