What does it really mean to bring equity into your fundraising practices, and how do you implement equity-centered fundraising? How do you create a resource development plan and strategies rooted in justice? While movements to transform philanthropy are gaining momentum across the country, nonprofit service providers that want to achieve financial stability in alignment with their equity-centered values are trapped in a system designed to maintain the status quo.

Over the next few months, we will host three events to explore the history of nonprofits and philanthropy, the framework and principles of community-centric fundraising, and actions and practices we can each take to build a base for systemic change. The event series includes:

Register for Racist Roots of Nonprofits and Philanthropy and the Nonprofit Innovation Summit: Centering Equity in Fundraising on March 2nd with one easy registration. Non-members save $10 by registering for both workshops together!

We are excited to have Michelle Shireen Muri leading the first two events! Michelle is the founder of Freedom Conspiracy, Co-Chair of the founding Seattle chapter for Community-Centric Fundraising, and host of The Ethical Rainmaker podcast.
