Aprenda cómo llevar sus habilidades de redacción de solicitudes de fondos a un nuevo nivel presupuestario; haciendo un presupuesto donde al mismo tiempo aprenderá los conceptos básicos para la redacción básica de solicitudes de fondos.

Learn how to take your grant writing skills to a new budgeting level as we build out a grant budget while learning about grant writing basics in this bilingual English/Spanish training.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • The basics of grant writing
  • How to create a grant budget
  • How to leverage your grant budget as you build out larger organizational budget
  • Skills to tell your story through grants

Escritores de solicitudes, miembros de junta directiva, empleados de organizaciones sin fines de lucro que supervisan presupuestos y recaudación de fondos, voluntarios que lideran presupuestos y recaudación de fondos.

Grantwriters, board members, nonprofit staff who oversee the budget and fundraising, volunteers who are leading fundraising and writing grants.

Accesibilidad

Interpretation: Please indicate during registration if you have an interpretation request. Typically, we need at least two weeks in order to schedule an interpreter.

Visual Descriptions: Presenters will include visual descriptions of themselves and the slides to give a person who is low-vision or blind a sense of space and place.

Sobre las presentadoras | About the Presenters

Lilliane Ballesteros, Executive Director, Latino Community Fund

Lilliane Ballesteros es la Directora Ejecutiva de Latino Community Fund del Estado de WA, donde lidera un equipo estatal que se dedica a la organización comunitaria, abogacía y al crecimiento de la capacidad de organizaciones dirigidas por Latinos/as/es en el Estado de WA. Lilliane ha recaudado fondos para organizaciones pequeñas y medianas con un capital de menos de $1 millón de dólares for más de 10 años, incluyendo a Entre Hermanos en el condado King y Mari’s Place of the Arts en el condado Snohomish. Ella ha trabajado con líderes comunitarios para incrementar los fondos y la capacidad organizacional a través WA. Lilliane actualmente sirve en la junta directiva de Philanthropy Northwest como la presidenta de Nominaciones y Gobernancia. Tiene una maestría de la escuela Evans en Políticas Públicas y Gobernanza de la Universidad de Washington. 

Lilliane Ballesteros is the Executive Director of the Latino Community Fund of WA State, where she leads a statewide team in community organizing, advocacy, and building the capacity of Latino-led organizations across WA State. Lilliane has fundraised with small to mid-sized organizations under $1 million for over ten years, including Entre Hermanos in King County and Mari’s Place of the Arts in Snohomish County. She has worked with community leaders to increase funding and organizational capacity across WA. Lilliane currently serves on the board of Philanthropy Northwest as the Nominating and Governance Chair. She holds a master’s degree from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, University of WA.
