2023 Legislative Reception, Olympia Washington

Event Details

Thursday, February 23, 2023

This event is a chance for nonprofit leaders to engage with one another and their lawmakers in Olympia. Our aim is to foster deeper relationships among our nonprofit partners and lawmakers to create more opportunities for collaboration and communicate our priorities for the 2023 legislative session.

Governor Jay Inslee and Representative Chipalo Street will both be speaking at the reception, so we hope you can join us!

We are working to organize meetings with legislators earlier in the day. Please consider joining in an advocacy meeting with other nonprofits from your district.

Who Should Attend

All legislators and legislative staff, members of NAWA, Philanthropy Northwest, United Ways of the Pacific Northwest, Washington State Community Action Partnership. and the BIPOC ED Coalition are welcome! Advanced registration is required, and registered attendees are welcome to register one guest as well. This will give us an accurate count and ensure we have contact info for all guests.

Not sure if you’re a member or have membership questions? Check our membership directory or contact Elyse at [email protected] for membership questions.

The first floor of the Abigail Stuart House is accessible for those who use wheelchairs and provides an accessible restroom. The event, program, and refreshments will all be on the first floor. There are two additional bathrooms on the second floor which can only be accessed by stairs, but can be used by our guests.

Interpretation: Please indicate during registration if you have an interpretation request. Typically, we need at least two weeks in order to schedule an interpreter.

If you have additional accessibility requests, please let us know when you register, including if you have dietary restrictions. We would like for everyone to be able to enjoy the offered refreshments.
