Have you ever heard the phrase, “you can’t pour from an empty cup”? Well I’m here to tell you, it’s the truth! As supervisors, managers, nonprofit leaders and more, you’re expected to go above and beyond for your organization and provide community resources. But what happens when you begin to feel the weight of providing value? How do you respond? Come on an interactive journey with me in discovering how your leadership can be impacted when leading on empty. We will dive into factors that can lead to an empty cup and learn how to navigate through those components.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will understand how to determine when they’re running on empty.
- Participants will understand why their cups run empty.
- Participants will be given tools and resources on how to fill their cups.
Want to continue learning? Join us in Spokane on June 15 for our next Innovation Summit: Overcoming Burnout & Embracing Healing. Across a series of sessions, this all-day event will focus on building the individual’s skills to care for themselves, build community among peers, and explore best practices for transforming organizational cultures.
