Join us for an engaging online Rural Nonprofit Gathering designed for rural nonprofit leaders across Washington State! This session will focus on advocacy and policy in rural Washington. Join experts to talk about the importance of amplifying rural voices in political discourse and creating sustainable solutions tailored to local needs. Let’s discuss how to collaborate to ensure equitable access to resources by rural communities.

Registrants will receive the webinar recording by email after the event. If there are breakout rooms, they will not be included in the recording. If you can’t attend the training but you are interested in learning about this topic, please register so we can send you the recording and materials.
Accessibility
Captioning: We will have automated captioning enabled.
Interpretation: Please indicate during registration if you have an interpretation request. Typically, we need at least two weeks in order to schedule an interpreter.
Visual Descriptions: Presenters will include visual descriptions of themselves and the slides to give a person who is low-vision, blind, or calling in without video a sense of space and place.

About the Speakers
Kyla Shkerich Blair , Principal at Capitol Path Consulting
Kyla brings more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of policy, community engagement, and public funding across city, state, and federal levels. Her career has been defined by roles that prioritize helping local communities navigate government systems and secure the resources they need to thrive. Most recently, Kyla served as the inaugural Chief of Staff at the Washington State Department of Commerce, where she led the Director’s Office and played a key role in aligning agency programs to better support cities and communities in accessing critical funding tools and development opportunities.
