Hosted by Olympic View Community Foundation
Please RSVP by June 6
When: June 13, 9:00AM -10:45AM
Where: Dungeness River Nature Center 1943 W. Hendrickson Rd, Sequim, WA
Who: OVCF invites all Clallam County nonprofits to attend
What: Light morning fare and a guided conversation, moderated by OVCF Board Co-Chair Susan Bonner
Why: Discuss the impact of the federal grants freeze (cuts/cancellations) and fundraising challenges on our local nonprofit community to inform adjustments to our grantmaking process this year, including the Peninsula Home Fund and Benjamin N Phillips Memorial Fund
There is a lot of uncertainty within the nonprofit community as we all grapple with how to adapt to the ever-changing economic landscape, especially while trying to plan our 2026 budgets. With so much funding cuts, or on the line—at both federal and state levels— we want to know how your organization is being affected, (even if indirectly, via pass-through grants, changes in collaborations and partnerships, etc.) and what you’re doing to address that impact.
Please join us for a discussion on how we can all pivot and move forward, and what we can do to work together and collaborate to make sure the needs of our community are being met as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Whether you’re able to attend the OVCF Town Hall or not, your voice is important and we would love to hear from you. As the event gets closer, we’ll reach out again with a questionnaire that you can either fill out and bring with you, email back to us, or fill out at the event.
Please RSVP by emailing [email protected] by Friday, June 6.
