We each have our own experiences with finance that may stir up excitement, mixed feelings, or uneasiness. These feelings can shape how we approach our relationship to nonprofit finance. Approaching nonprofit finance in a welcoming way, the Finance Unlocked for Nonprofits workshop aims to help unlock your financial literacy. From key words and forms to understanding how everything fits together, you will increase your basic nonprofit finance knowledge.
The workshop will cover:
- Balance sheet
- Income statement
- IRS Form 990
- Giving
- Oversight
A light lunch will be provided.

Who Should Attend
This workshop is aimed at nonprofit board members and nonprofit staff wanting to elevate financial knowledge within their organization. Teams are strongly encouraged.

About the Speakers
Molly Honcoop, CPA, Manager, Larson Gross Advisors
Molly graduated from Whitworth University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and joined Larson Gross in 2017. From early on in her career, she has worked with nonprofit organizations, serving organizations, staff, and boards with their tax preparation and planning needs.
Molly enjoys working with a variety of nonprofits, learning their unique missions and working with them as they work toward their goals and serve their communities.
When she’s not working with nonprofit organizations, Molly enjoys traveling as well as reading a good book!
Brittney Hill, CPA, Senior Manager, Larson Gross Advisors
Brittney Hill is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University and an MBA from Colorado State University. She joined Larson Gross in 2025, bringing extensive experience in corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and data visualization, with a primary focus in the agriculture industry. Drawing on her executive experience, Brittney enjoys translating financial data into meaningful insights that empower clients to make informed decisions and better understand their business from a financial perspective. She values collaboration and is passionate about building successful, long-term client relationships.
Brittney has spent most of her professional career in the beautiful Yakima Valley. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy cheering on their three children at various youth sports activities and soaking up as much Eastern Washington sunshine as possible.
