Nonprofits are essential partners to state agencies and local governments to deliver key services efficiently and effectively. But we’ve heard from so many of you that the terms and requirements of government contracts can often get in the way of doing your best work, paying staff livable wages, and keeping your organizations financially stable.

We’re convening a coalition of nonprofit organizations that do essential work in our state. Building on the findings of The Nonprofit Experience with Government Contracting: Challenges and Recommendations, the coalition will set priorities for change and advocate for improvements to government contracting at the state and local levels.
