On September 14, NAWA partnered with the Pullman Chamber of Commerce to host the first quarterly Nonprofit Coffee Chat. Held in Pullman, the event brought together nonprofit professionals from 24 different organizations representing a wide variety of missions.

Fields of service among the nonprofits represented ranged from healthcare to homeownership, arts to agriculture, and many more. Attendees shared their organizations’ “needs and offers” – where they could use additional learning or resources, as well as the wealth of skills and resources they could share with other nonprofits in the Palouse.

Participants also suggested the creation of a #Palouse channel in the NAWA Community Slack so they could stay connected, invite others to join, and share information, resources, and encouragement throughout the year. Join the NAWA Community Slack and #Palouse channel to stay up to date on nonprofit happenings in the region and share your own updates with us!

NAWA Equity Ambassador Elizabeth Perez, who is based in Pullman, invites nonprofits interested in learning more about NAWA and our upcoming events on the Palouse to reach out to her via the NAWA Community Slack.
